Haunted Honeymoons

San Antonio is famous for a lot things but few people know that San Antonio is considered to be one of the most haunted places in the entire country.  Now whether you believe in that kind of thing or not,  it's very interesting to hear all of the stories behind the rumors and legends.  Downtown San Antonio was the site of many famous battles and perhaps that contributes to the numerous stories of hauntings. 

Several hotels downtown have a rich history of hauntings and ghostly sightings.  The Emily Morgan is one of the most well known hotels that is rumored to be haunted.   It is a historic hotel that provides beautiful views of the Riverwalk, and the downtown area.  It was once The Medical Arts Building, built in 1924. Many a claim have been made about ghostly sightings. Thankfully, most people report never seeing anything out of the ordinary.  Now, I'm a big chicken and I would never want to see anything even close to that but some brides seem to be thrilled with the possibility of having a ghostly visitor on their honeymoon.   The staff are wonderful and the hotel is a fabulous place to stay for any occasion.
