 Second Chance at Love

At The Robin's Nest we love being in love.  It's the main factor that drives our business and our passion for the clients we serve.  The sight of a groom's face when he catches the first glimpse of his bride walking down the aisle is priceless.  The glowing smile of a bride looking up at her groom as they are annouced husband and wife never gets old.  No matter how many times we see it, we have the same reaction.............pure joy.

But what happens when it's not the first marriage for either the groom or bride..........or both?  Shouldn't they be able to have the same feelings of awe when they say their "I Do's"?  The answer should be of course, but unfortunately some second timers have the feeling they don't deserve a big wedding.  It can become very complicated when families and children from previous marriages enter the picture.  Trying to include everyone and make each person feel special can be challenging but don't give up.  More and more blended families are merging their lives successfully and the wedding should be the perfect start to a lifetime of happiness.

Over the years, we have seen several wonderful ways that new families use the wedding ceremony to include everyone, from reciting vows to each others children, or giving rings as symbols of love and a promise to care for them as their own.  No matter how you decide to celebrate a second chance at love, we hope you do it with all the joy and awe of a first love.

We would love to hear from you and how your second chance at love was made special.
